Piedmont Planning Consultants, LLC was established in 2003 by Steven Buckley to provide consultant services in the fields of project management, land use permitting, and environmental assessment. Mr. Buckley, a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, has over fifteen years of experience with consulting firms and government agencies providing these services in conjunction with a team of technical experts, agency staff, and project proponents, usually in settings with substantial public involvement.

Serving as agency staff for planning, ordinance revision, project review and permitting, design review Interpreting public agency regulations, procedures, and standards Writing permit application materials for property owners / developers Drafting permit conditions, findings of fact, staff reports Preparing and distributing public notices Presenting project analysis in public forums Preparing minutes, resolutions, exhibits Monitoring compliance - mitigation measures / conditions of approval Coordinating design and construction of physical improvements.
